Brighton Pride 94: a home movie
A couple of queer mates take a VHS camera to Brighton Pride for a laugh and capture the 500-strong march on its way from Hove peace statue to The Level. See Brighton Pride as you may never have seen it before, in some of the earliest known footage.
Let’s Talk About Sydney
Narrated by Val Miles, we meet her uncle Sydney (born in 1921 in Brixton) and hear about his life in the army, his boyfriend Nick and the Campaign for Homosexual Equality in London. Val discovered Sydney’s photograph collection after he died in Sussex and this film is made up almost entirely of those pictures.
